SHORT BIOGRAPHY:
Christoph Nytsch-Geusen, professor for building physics and building engineering at UdK Berlin, is a specialist in the simulation of heterogeneous technical systems, scalable modeling and simulation methods for energy systems in rooms, buildings and city quarters. In particular, he has focused on object-oriented and equations-based simulation methods for energy-efficient building design, and has published widely in the field. He is a board member of the German Affliate of the IBPSA (International Building Physics Simulation Association) and a scientific expert for research projects of the DFG and the Ministry for the Environment, Nature Conservation, Building and Nuclear Safety. Nytsch-Geusen is also a member of the VDI-Standards Committee 6020.
