The „Museum of Human Affectivity“ (MoHA) is a virtual exhibition of sonic experiences dealing with various aspects of human emotions and affectivity. Each experience is a conceptual prototype realized by students as part of the seminar „Sound Scenography - designing sonic experiences“ held by Johannes Helberger from kling klang klong, creative studio for sonic experiences. It took place as part of the master’s program in Audio Communication and Technology at TU Berlin.
Sound Scenography is the discipline of designing experiential qualities and narrative features of spaces and environments. In practice it derives from interdisciplinary work processes combining scenographic narratives with sound design, interaction design and software development.
As sound and music is widely used to convey and influence emotional connotations of environments, the MoHA deals with the core of spatial sound design. The student groups of the seminar developed concepts which were then partly realized as prototypes. We invite you to stroll through the virtual spaces of the museum, immerse yourself in the offered experiences and engage with the topic of human emotionality from various angles.
